Events: a great night out at Playhouse Nightclub

Niels’ performance is one you will always remember! Niels presents a show full of comedy, miracles and surprises, along with his unique sense of humor. Performing since the age of 11, his magic has taken him to the most beautiful theaters, nightclubs, hotels, corporate events, cruise ships, theme parks and conventions around the world.

Since 2021, Niels performances have been in demand in part to his appearance on History Channel’s hit TV show Parn Stars, and receiving all yeses on Tengo Talento Mucho Talento the equivalent to America’s Got Talent (in Spanish.) Niels continues to present his comedy magic show for adults in some of the top comedy clubs across the country, as well as black box theaters and cruise ships. This past summer he has was one of the featured magicians playing the part of the Conjurer in the famous show Wonderville in England. Recently, Niels was the recipient of prestigious Magician of the Year Award by the Society of American Magicians, Chapter 210 Puerto Rico!

John Tole is a storytelling wizard who turns every showroom into your family room. John’s show is an ADHD Thrill Ride for people who love to celebrate joy. Tole has rocked prestigious world stages and festivals, including High Plains Comedy Festival, Oddball Comedy and Oddity Festival, SXSW Interactive, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Limestone Comedy Festival, and multiple Moontower Comedy Festival appearances. John has been featured on Sirius XM, VICE, Hits 1, Howard 100, and Howard 101, and was a contributor to The Howard Stern Show as well as a Tour Regular with both The Killers of Comedy and The Ronnie Mund Block Party Tour.

Kelsey Singer is a stand up comic from Wilmington, NC. She has been doing stand up since 2018, and is known for her sarcastic musing and unique witticisms. She saw early success winning “The Last Seahawk Standing comedy contest in 2019, cementing her reputation as one of the funniest to come out of UNCW. You can catch her performing in shows all over the state. When she’s not doing comedy she is using her masters degree teaching the next generation of performers at her Alma mater.

Billy Williamson is a comic from northern neck of Va. he’s known throughout Virginia for don’t tells and a host at Cozzys comedy club in Newport News.

Tyler Wilson is a hilarious young comedian with a brash style and luscious hair. The young prodigy started comedy at 18, and at just 21 years of age, is a regular at the world famous Goodnight’s Comedy Club where you can catch him performing with big names like Zoltan Kaszas, Jared Goldstein, Hayden Childress, and Doug Key. Tyler was also a 2024 “NC’s Funniest” finalist, a prestigious competition held at the very same world famous Goodnight’s Comedy Club. You may even recognize him as a featured comedian at the Galaxycon conventions all over the country, and Galaxycon related special events, such as “Animate!” This up and comer’s style is a can’t miss mix of witty observations and dirty takes. Some Have even described him as “funny.” Don’t miss him!

Eric Emerson is a stand up comedian originally from North Carolina, with comedic roots in Chicago. He is the co-host of the “Turnip & Stone” podcast, and a regular performer at the Zanies, Laugh Factory, a Den Theatre of Chicago. Over the last 12 years he’s opened for some of Comedys biggest names like Shane Gillis, Robert Kelly, Big Jay Oakerson, Luis J Gomez, Dave Smith, Kelsey Cook, and more!

Carey James is a Durham, NC–based stand-up comedian & 2025 Top 3 finalist in North Carolina’s Funniest Competition. Known for his laid-back charm & sharp observations, he turns his crazy life experiences into big laughs. Carey has opened for Mark Normand, Nick Mullen, & Dave Attell, & has featured for Matthew Broussard. With a mix of storytelling & sarcasm, his comedy feels like catching up with an old friend from high school…only a lot less cringe.

Dusty Cagle is a North Carolina stand up and improv comedian who mixes the best of both worlds in his own silly and whimsical way! 

Dusty can also be seen up and down the eastern part of the country performing with his group Attention Horse at various comic cons!

Dusty has opened for Eddie Pepitone, JT Haberstat, Junior Stopka, Dusty Slay, The Bustercups and “Hack Saw” Jim Duggan!

Nick Deez is a comic from Virginia Beach Virginia, his quick wit and dark sense of humor make him everyone’s favorite stepdad and the world’s greatest stepson. Nick regularly performs at comedy clubs all over the country. He will make you laugh til you cry and then laugh some more

Dan Alten is an intelligent goofball from Kentucky who has been traveling the country for the past decade doing over 150 shows a year bringing his charming nonsense everywhere from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs. Like if the Ramones were one guy with a mustache and good jokes. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Bobcat, Sam Tallent, Rory Scovel, Sarah Sherman from SNL, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound & David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric, various punk bands with silly names, and a guy at an open mic who tried to throw his father’s ashes into the crowd. He has recorded 2 albums, written a zine, and filmed a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand up show that was lost to history. But most importantly he’s very funny and unique. You will enjoy him. And if not you can mud wrestle him after the show.

Jamie Lissow is an actor and comedian who can currently be seen as a weekly guest on the #1 rated late night talk show, GUTFELD!  Prior to that, Jamie starred alongside SNL alums Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Norm MacDonald, and David Spade in the Netflix Original Series REAL ROB, in which he also served as co-writer and producer.   Jamie has appeared on THE TONIGHT SHOW,  THE LATE LATE SHOW,  LAST COMIC STANDING, and his DRY BAR COMEDY SPECIAL has racked up over 20 million views.  Most recently,  Jamie can be seen in the feature DADDY DAUGHTER TRIP  alongside Rob Schneider, John Cleese, and Michael Bublé.  Next,  Jamie is set to star in the feature  THE ANIMAL 2  for Fox/Tubi.  Jamie continues to headline stand-up comedy clubs across the country.
